Fort Worth, Texas (October 4, 2010) - Starr Tincup, the premier full-service marketing agency dedicated to the human capital management (HCM) software and services industry, announced the completion of a successful show at the HR Technology Conference & Expo, the best conference in the world about technology for Human Resources, held again this year at McCormick Place in Chicago.
"Bill Kutik and the folks at HR Executive magazine know how to put on a show, and we thank them for the opportunity to be a part of it," said the firm's managing partner, Bret Starr. "Anybody who is anybody in the human capital industry is at this show, and that's why it was the perfect forum to formally introduce our four new partners to the industry."
Kevin Mangum, Dan McCarron, Mark Mitchell and Steve Smith recently joined Starr as principals in the Fort Worth marketing firm that has worked with hundreds of companies in the HCM industry since 2000 and posted $12 million dollars in capitalized billings in 2009. The company is headquartered on Magnolia Avenue in Fort Worth's up-and-coming Near Southside neighborhood and for the past three years has been recognized as one of the Dallas Business Journal's Best Places to Work in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

"Our research of the buying attitudes of HR buyers proves this point, and I believe that the dramatic increase in attendance at this year's show reinforces it. People were very much in a buying mood this year."
People were also in a drinking mood, as Starr Tincup managed to float three kegs of beer and drain two cases of wine. "Great marketing needs a great offer, and free beer is just about the best offer there is," said Mangum, who leads the firm's account services. "We made lots of friends and had lots of great conversations. We even received the seal of approval from Kris Dunn at HR Capitalist."
